The andersons in 2008

Well, in 2008 Jen got a job. The first time in 5 years to be officially paid for working. I feel I've worked plenty in the last 5 years though. As Oprah always says, "Motherhood is the hardest job in the world". I definitely agree it should "count" as work! I now work with an organization called "Wings for LIFE" which is an education and support ministry for families of incarcerated individuals, and those recently released. It has been a good experience for me and I love my coworkers. Also a good challenge & flexible.
The girls are busy busy too this year. CeCe turned 2 in February, and celebrated at I Scream Ice Cream, our favorite hangout. We also went to the Circus, and to Hoots which is a place where you can jump and play on indoor inflatable slides & jumpers. Lots of fun. Lilia's 5th birthday is in April. Still discussing where the party will be & who from her class to invite!
Karl's been busy flying to Baltimore a lot for work. We miss him when he's gone. One of the prices we were willing to pay for living in NM, lots of commuting back to MD.
As always active in church, with our small group, UMW group, and Sunday school class for Parents of young children. CeCe & Lilia love going to church & rush to the door! They want to go even on days when we have nothing scheduled there, so we take that as a good sign.
Our singer, dancer, ham it up Lilia is also taking drama classes with "The Growing Stage" and will be in a few scenes of "Peter Pan" that the classes are putting on March 15th. It is a great class and she seems to really love it. What 4 year old wouldn't love being in scenes where they get to yell "Cake!" and "Hooray! Cinderella"
I'll try to be better at posting my updates!

The Anderson Family

Welcome to our new blogspot! We have a lot of pictures up on Flickr, but we don't often detail our adventures! We wanted to have a few more "stories" to keep all our friends and family, and general public informed!
Here's our girls Lilia age 4 (right) and Cecily 18 months (Left). I stay home with them full time, which is a tougher job than I ever imagined, but how awesome is it to spend everyday with my girls watching them grow before my eyes? I'm so blessed! We call this the pigtail picture!
